Cover crops (barley in this case) are being rolled over just before the seeds are fully grown.
Meanwhile, we are having 420 young steers on our farm as a Regenerative necessity for the soil and a diversification of income through meat production.
A few weeks ago, the agricultural team of the German Embassy / Buenos Aires visited us.
Our 307 young steers are reaching the final stage on our farm.
Our roosters seek shelter in this tree, climbing up the ladder.
Look, how the young steers have grown up – thanks to the help of the great livestock team and the multi species pasture!
This season, we already planted 350 of 600 new trees from our own tree nursery as part of our new keyline design structure.
The cattle is moved every 1-2 days to a new lot.
Here they are – our (up to now) 195 beautiful young steers: Black and Red Aberdeen Angus, and a few cross breeds Angus x Hereford (white blazed).
